Turn an MP3, M4A, WAV or video file into editable text and SRT or VTT subtitles. OpenAI's Whisper model runs in your browser, so the file is never uploaded. Free, no sign-up, no minute limits.

Files up to 60 minutes and 300 MB. English mode or Any language mode (99 languages, detected automatically, never translated). Each subtitle gets real start and end times. Edit the text, copy it or save a .txt file. The one-time model download is cached by the browser. Works best in desktop Chrome or Edge. Nothing is stored on a server.
